Alkagesta has carried out its first truck-to-vessel marine fuel delivery in Constanța, Romania, supplying 50.164 metric tonnes of marine gasoil from two trucks on 2 October 2026, according to Alkagesta Newsroom. The company presented the operation as an extension of its fuel distribution capabilities in Romania and the wider Black Sea region.

The delivery introduces truck-to-vessel supply to Alkagesta’s Romanian operations. In its account, the company described Romania as an increasingly important market for its petroleum products and biofuels activities during 2026. The reported milestone concerns its first use of this delivery method in Constanța, rather than the start of its broader business in the country.

Alkagesta Newsroom placed the marine fuel operation alongside several other developments in the company’s European energy business. Earlier in 2026, Alkagesta obtained access to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System and began delivering Jet A1 into the European aviation market. The company said those deliveries began during a period of acute supply pressure, with greater military use of the pipeline complicating civilian fuel distribution.

The company also reported its first crude oil transactions during the period, including an end-to-end delivery of approximately 1.07 million barrels to the Far East. Separately, it said it had secured a multi-year agreement for biofuel storage at Pantank in Antwerp, alongside a five-year offtake agreement for used cooking oil feedstock. Alkagesta described those arrangements as strengthening its role in the European biofuels supply chain.

Outside Europe, the company said its Singapore hub achieved monthly marine fuel trading volumes of approximately 250,000 metric tonnes during its first full year of operation. That trading figure is separate from the physical delivery reported in Romania. Taken together, the activities outlined by Alkagesta Newsroom span marine fuels, aviation fuel, crude oil and biofuels, with the Constanța supply adding a further delivery option to its Romanian business.
